What is Tattoo...?

TATTOO
A tattoo is an art which is used in decorating the body parts. It is done by inserting the ink inside the body. Although it is very painful, but now a days majority of people follows this high trend fashion. Tattoos are practiced worldwide. It is derived from a Tahitian word “tatu” which states to mark something. In historical research it has been observed that if we move back to the eras of B.C we could get such information that during that times tattoos used to indicate the position of a person in a society but in today’s era tattoo may signify some association or a group. Apart from jewelry, tattoos are also used as a permanent jewelry on bodies.

For making tattoo, a particular machine is used. A tattoo machine is composed of few items such as sterilized needle, a system of tubes for drawing the ink through the machine, an electronic motor, and a foot pedals which controls the up & down movement of a needle. The physical process of decorating the body is by injecting link into the person’s skin. A tattoo machine moves with a rate of 50 to 3,000 times per minute to pierce the skin.

As you look at the tattoo, it seems on the outer layer of the skin “epidermis” or may be on the second layer “dermis”. Second layer or dermis one is the most supportive for tattoo to stay, throughout a lifetime.
